QRBarcode builds browser and account-based tools for creating, scanning, managing, and testing QR codes and supported barcode formats. The product is maintained by the QRBarcode Editorial Team, the same team that operates the generators and checks the technical guidance published in the guide library.

What we build

Static QR and barcode rendering occurs with the formats shown in each tool. Managed dynamic codes use saved redirects and require an account. Scanner images and camera frames are decoded in the browser. Product lookup is a separate best-effort service backed at launch by UPCitemdb; it is not an official product registry.

We do not issue UPC, EAN, GTIN, or GS1 Company Prefix identifiers. A rendered symbol does not register a product, certify print quality, guarantee scanning on every device, or establish ownership of encoded data.

How we test

The team maintains automated payload, rendering, barcode validation, scanner, API, sitemap, and page tests. Samples used in product documentation are generated by the current application and decoded again before publication. For printed recommendations, we distinguish a software decode from production verification because material, ink, size, glare, and scanning hardware change the result.
